Applicants can complete the AccessNI application process through our secure portal, where they will provide necessary personal details and upload two identity documents for ID verification. For both Standard and Enhanced checks, a body (such as your employer or Hollypark) will need to countersign the application.
To apply online, log in via your NIDirect account. Ensure you provide your personal details, including your full name, date of birth, address history for the past 5 years, and your National Insurance number. Additionally, submit ID documents such as a passport, driving license, or utility bills to verify your identity.
Signatories review the submitted identity documents to confirm the applicant's identity before proceeding with the AccessNI application process at Hollypark. This step is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and legitimacy of the background check types being conducted. Present original documents to your employer or organisation, ensuring that they meet the 100-point ID verification system (e.g., passport, driving license, birth certificate, utility bills).
Your employer or organisation will submit the completed forms and verified ID documents to Hollypark Access as part of the AccessNI application process.
Hollypark Standard turnaround times for background check types are as follows:
Basic: often within 1 - 2 days
Standard/Enhanced: 1 - 2 days
AccessNI processes the application, conducting necessary checks against criminal records and other relevant databases. Processing times may vary; however, AccessNI provides updates on turnaround times for each check level, ensuring you are informed throughout the ID verification process.
All AccessNI application fees are processed through Hollypark AccessNI as part of the AccessNI application process. Fees for Basic, Standard, and Enhanced Checks, which correspond to different background check types, may be paid by the individual, employer, or sponsoring organisation. Additionally, ID verification is an essential part of these checks.
Once processed, the AccessNI application process issues a disclosure certificate that details the individual's criminal record status. This certificate is then provided to the applicant and relevant parties, aiding in informed decision-making for recruitment or volunteering purposes.
